Lou is a Commander US Navy (retired), a three-time President & CEO at The David J Joseph Company (now the largest Division of NUCOR Steel (NYSE:NUE), Indian Motorcycle Corporation, and Integris Metals (a multi-billion dollar Joint Venture of ALCOA and BHPBilliton.)Lou has served in both the Ohio House of Representatives and the Ohio Senate, serving as a Committee Chairman in both Houses,He is graduate of the US Naval Academy (BS), Syracuse University (MBA) and Harvard University (MLA). He has taught both the Theory of Strategy and Experiential Strategy at the Graduate level at both Xavier University and Mount Saint Joseph University. Lou was named the Executive MBA Professor of the Program four times at Xavier and the Adjunct Professor of the Year at Mount St. Joseph in 2018.

Lou is a member of the Board of the Altiora Fund, the USO of Central & Southern Ohio, the Central Region of the Boy Scouts of America and a member of the Advisory Board at the Williams College of Business, Xavier University.
What He Values
Lou has four adult children and six grandchildren and values family and religion above all else. He tries to live by the precepts learned at the Naval Academy – Duty, Honor & Country.
